Faaraabee is the founder of Islamic philosophy and exploring the origins and objectives of his philosophy can play a vital role in explaining the goals of Islamic education. These origins and objectives can be categorized in three sections: ontology, epistemology, and ethics. In each of these areas educational objectives can be defined and appropriate approaches identified. Educational objectives, from Faaraabee\'s perspective, have two dimensions: individual and social, which are inseparable. The ultimate educational goal for Faaraabee is \"well-being\", prior to which are moderation, rationality, health, and cooperation. Based on such a philosophy suggestions can be made as to how the national educational system can be improved.
