To demonstrate the effectiveness of the cognitive-behavioral approach in learning how to control anger in a group setting, a group of 22 young men, residing in a Welfare Department\'s dormitory, were divided into two equal sized groups, one of which went through an eight week course utilizing the said approach. The analysis of pre- and post-test data revealed no significant change in students\' behavior that had occurred due to the 8 week session they had gone through. Perhaps it is the short duration of the course and the program\'s shortcomings which are the main reasons for this outcome.
