Effective factors of the centered quality relationship between teacher and student

In order for improving the learning process, it is crucial of importance to identify effective factors in establishing communication between students and faculty members. This research was done to determine Shahid Beheshti students' points of view regarding such factors.
This is a descriptive-cross sectional study that includes 1440 students from Shahid Behshti University whom selected through stratified sampling method in 2012-2013. A questionnaire comprising two parts; demographic data and 24 questions concerning the assessment of professional and moral factors in establishing communication between students and faculty was used. The scale of the questionnaire was a five point scale. Data was analyzed by SPSS software utilizing mean, frequency distribution and standard deviation. The groups' comparison was made by chi2.
Results: According to students ’views, the most effective factors in establishing communication, respectively were knowledge transfer (66.4), the teacher respect (63.3) and personal factors were teacher sympathy (61.9) and teacher justice (61.3). While the age and gender of the teacher respectively 20.2 and 19.4 percent are the least affected elements.
According to students” view some educational characteristics reflecting the teaching skills and some of moral qualities in teachers are effective in establishing communication between faculty members and students. Training courses are extremely recommended to improve this communication.
