Meta-analysis of the Relationship Between School Transformational Leadership and Teachers Organizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract

This study aimed to combine the quantitative results of preceding studies have been done on the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational citizenship behavior school teachers in Iran. The meta-analysis is to conduct research and data analysis software for CMA Version 2, was used. The study population, a master's degree and PhD theses have been conducted in public universities as well as articles published in scientific journals. Studies based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, the effect sizes of 5 and 3 master's thesis research paper was analyzed using a random model. Results showed that the meta-analysis, researchers examined the combined effect size was calculated 0/44. The combining effect size based on Cohen's d an average was calculated. This meta-theoretical foundations and empirical evidence in relation to previous research shows the relationship between transformational leadership and teachers organizational citizenship behavior. The results show that to achieve the objectives of school education and student achievement considering leadership style is very important.
