The relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior with organizational silence from the perspective of high school teachers

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and organizational silence from the perspective of high school teachers were germi city. The research method, descriptive - correlational. The population consists of all secondary school teachers in germi city in 140 patients (35 women and 105 men) was formed. And on the table krejcie - Morgan sample size of 103 patients (25 females and 78 males) was selected using stratified random sampling. The data collected from Organ and Kvnvsky questionnaires Organizational Citizenship Behavior (1996) and organizational silence and Vakola & Bouradas (2005) was used. Statistical methods to analyze data from the Canonical Correlation, one-sample t test, Pearson correlation and multiple regression were used. The results showed that significant positive correlation between organizational citizenship behavior organizational silence there. Organizational Citizenship Behavior and its various aspects and dimensions of organizational silence is slightly above average and lower than the average of the evaluation. the generosity of the components of organizational citizenship behavior Sportsmanship and Civic virtue of the organization's ability to explain the silence. the altruism, courtesy and consciousness can not predict organizational silence. and in general, 25% of the variance in organizational silence predict Organizational Citizenship Behavior stopped.
