The Investigation of the Relationship between Achievement Motivation and Human Resource in Jahad-Daneshgahi of Tehran University

Abstract

This study aimed atinvestigating the relationship betweenachievement motivation and human resource,the present condition of human resource and achievement motivation, and the relationship between components of achievement motivation and human resourcein Jahad-Daneshgahi of Tehran University. The descriptive-correlative study approach was used and the measurement tools were the human resource questionnaire (Naderi, 2011) and Hermans'achievement motivation test. The reliability of the questionnaires was assessed based on Cronbach alpha coefficiency. The population of the study was the staff of Jahad-Daneshgahi of Tehran University. Due to the staff limitation, all 250 personnel were considered as the statistical sample. In order to analyze the data, frequency, frequency percentage, one-sample T-testand multiple regression were used. The results revealed that 1) the human resource is significantly higher than the average level, 2) there is a positive significant correlation between self-confidence and human resource,3) there is a positive correlation between the dynamic perception of time; 4) there is a positive significant correlation between sturdiness and the human resource,5) there is a positive significant correlation between progressive practical motivation and the human resource,6) there is a positive significant correlation between providence and the human resource,7) there is a positive significant correlation between successful work and the human resource, and finally 8) there is a positive significant correlation between the perseverance and the human resource.
