A critical analysis of educational implications of Deluz\' perspective on epistemology

Abstract

Post-structural education poses new problems and challenges. Deluz' post-structuralist epistemology, while emphasizing deteritorization and retertorization, as well as becoming instead of being, rhizomic and horizontal thinking instead of vertical and tree-like thinking, has not only solved some of the educational problems, but it has also created new ones. On the other hand, over-emphasis on pluralism and negation of hierarchical relationships has created new challenges for education, especially in the traditional societies, all of which are discussed herein
