Abstract
Islamic family education is an effective way of improving marital life. To show this effectiveness a randomly selected group of 30 couples was divided into two groups, one of which was put through a six 90 minutes weekly sessions course. Using the Enrich questionnaire on marital satisfaction, the post-course and the follow up data show a significant increase in the experimental group's marital satisfaction. However, no impact on personality issues was detected.
