The impact of economic globalization on Iranian education, and especially on its scientific and educational objectives in the high school curriculum, was assessed through the analysis of the available documents. The results indicate that the educational approaches need to be altered in order to increase the compatibility of educational products and the needs of the job market. Furthermore, the use of information and communication technologies, as well as vocational and language training programs need to be expanded. These findings go along with the already ratified objectives for the high school curriculum.
