The critique of Post-structural anti-authority of moral education from Islamic viewpoint

Abstract

Post structuralism approach to morality is concentrated on multiplicity, variety and difference in values extent and rejects absolute, universal and pre determinate moral doctrines. Thus post- structuralism cannot be compatible with the authority of common and pervasive moral doctrines. While Islamic viewpoint to morality emphasizes on common existential dimensions of human being and on similarities rather than differences, therefore from this viewpoint, admission the authority of some moral doctrines is necessary. It seems to deny authority from moral education has unfavorable outcomes like the expansion of individual, relativistic and pluralistic attitudes in morality domain and extension undecidabilty and uncertainty to promote constant incredulity that makes moral education possibility unsteady. This paper is based on explanation the main by Islamic external critique of post structural moral education.
